The Cosmic Psychos’ new video is a fucking gorefest

The Cosmic Psychos are living up to their name in their latest video for the song ‘Better, Not Bitter’ by going fucking full-on Wolf Creek.

Going against their reputation as the “blokes you can trust,” the Aussie punk legends have chainsawed the gore up to a billion in their latest clip playing John Jarret-esque murderous bastards unleashing bullets, bulldozers and chainsaws on a trio of unlucky buggers whose car broke down in the wrong place at the wrong time (played by NOVA radio personality Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Animal Kingdom actors Anthony Hayes and Justin Rosniak).

Directed by Matt Weston (director of the Cosmic Psychos: Blokes You Can Trust
doco), the video was filmed on location at Psychos frontman Ross Knight’s farm, and is the first single from the band’s highly anticipated new LP Cum The Raw Prawn, which is out June 5 via Desperate Records / Rocket Distribution .

The Psychos are also poised to hit the road with Brisbane’s favourite garden hose thieves, Dune Rats, for an Australian tour in June, in what is guaranteed to be one of the loosest series of gigs the country has ever seen.
