The Fat Jew Is Pissing Off Your Favourite Comedians
It’s a scary time we live in. Thanks to the world wide web it would appear that some of the least talented turds of all time are getting their moment in the sun (yes Kim, I’m looking at you, like RIGHT at you, deep into your soulless cow eyes) at the expense of some of the more legitimately talented, simply because they’re opportunistic and totally ruthless.
This is what Josh Otrovsky is finding out at the moment. Better known as the “Fat Jew”, Otrovsky has massive social media followings thanks to his immediately gratifying and very funny instagram and twitter accounts. The only problem is that most of the content isn’t his. Most of it is pinched from writers or comedians and most of it is not credited accordingly. Whereas I was previously inclined to believe that there’s little anyone can do about people stealing your stuff on the internet , a couple of high profile comedians have voiced their displeasure very very loudly this week and ol’ Fat Jew is being torn down.
Patton Oswalt noted with great disdain that Ostrovsky had previously referred to himself not as a thief, but an ‘aggregator’ to which he respondeded thusly:

This week however shit really hit the fan when it was revealed that Otrovsky had signed to massive Hollywood agency CAA for representation. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that he is also developing a pilot with Comedy Central and hosts a radio show on Apple Music Beats 1 as well as boasting brand deals with Virgin Mobile, Burger King and other huge names, making his theft that tiny bit more infuriating (oh yes and also lucrative , really really lucrative).
This week we’ve noticed that the Fat Jew has started legitimately linking to the source of each of his instagram accounts, which has opened up a delightful new world of original, instagram comedy gold, which we happily share with you today.
