The Raddest Couple In Comedy Are Coming To Australia To Talk About Sex

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman are bringing their Summer Of 69: No Apostrophe show to Australia. Aren’t they the best?

Surely one of the raddest comedy couples of our generation (not all hope was lost when Will Arnett and Amy Poehler split) will tour Australia and New Zealand with their new show, talking about their love life, in the most explicit manner imaginable. The couple, who played Ron Swanson and his estranged ‘bitch’ ex-wife Tammy on hit NBC show Parks and Recreation have been together for 15 years and  talk about their sex life via expletive-ridden song, dance and comedy skits in their theatre show.

Sounds weird. Sounds great. Sounds like when I grow up I kinda want to be this couple.

“It’s like comedy sex ed” Mullally told the Washington Post. “I think it’s the nature of comedy to push the envelope. I mean, think about Louis C.K. and Sarah Silverman. You can’t really be super conservative and continue to keep your audience, but at least the audience that we attract comes with a certain level of naughtiness.”

The Summer Of 69 is even going to Tasmania. More details on Live Nation’s website.
